Our Automap Platform uses a pipeline that takes coded or raw text input and produces matches in the desired output coding scheme with confidence levels. We use a combination of AI/ML, lexical matching, and semantic rules to identify and rank potential matches. This results in a starting point for mappings that can reduce overall human effort (and cost) by 80%.
Curation with a Human Touch
Automated mapping approaches are best used to seed map projects with candidates for connecting one terminology to another. From there, expert human reviewers can curate and maintain those maps to provide high-quality, use-case specific connections between terminologies.
