Junior Java Developer
West Coast Informatics is hiring a Junior Java Software Developer with at least 3 years of Java experience. The candidate will support full-stack development (though mainly back-end) of a suite of RESTful applications. Applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or something similar.
Applicant must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
The position requires expertise in:
Java
Search technologies such as Lucene, Elasticsearch or other similar technologies
Web technologies such as Javascript, TypeScript, REST, HTML5, Angular
Database technologies such as MySQL/Postgres
Extra consideration for those with experience in any of the following:
Spring Boot applications
Python
Curl/Bash
Gradle/Maven
Docker/Kubernetes
Java Developer
West Coast Informatics is hiring a Java Software Developer with at least 5 years of Java experience. The candidate will support full-stack development (though mainly back-end) of a suite of RESTful applications. Applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or something similar.
Work independently to write Java SpringBoot microservices RESTful applications
Leverage Elasticsearch, Postgres, Docker, and AWS cloud infrastructure
Develop features to interact with structured healthcare terminologies and knowledge bases
Help train machine learning models for Natural Language Processing (NLP), healthcare terminology word embeddings, and classification models
Solve interesting problems involving healthcare data and data models Must be authorized to work in the US (Permanent Resident or US Citizen)
Use your communication and interpersonal skills to update internal and customer facing teams
The position requires expertise in:
Java
Spring Boot applications
Search technologies such as Lucene, Elasticsearch or other similar technologies
Front-end technologies such as Javascript, TypeScript, REST, HTML5, Angular
Database technologies such as MySQL/Postgres
Experience developing REST APIs in a microservices environment
Extra consideration for those with experience in any of the following:
